I got my diploma degree in electrical engineering from the University of Zagreb, and my PhD from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. After Lausanne, I did a short post-doc in Paris between Institut Langevin and Ecole Normale Superieure. I have been an adjunct assistant professor at UIUC since fall 2015, and an assistant professor since fall 2016.

In 2011 I received the ICASSP Best Student Paper award; in 2014 I got the Google PhD Fellowship and the Patrick Denantes Award; and in 2016 the EPFL Doctoral Thesis Award.
